Spradley named All-American
Gadsden, Ala. — The National Junior College Athletic Association named Taylor Spradley as one of six NJCAA Division I Volleyball Honorable Mention All-Americans.
Spradley is a star player on the Gadsden State Community College volleyball team. She is the first to be selected as an All-American since 2006 when Lady Cardinal Katie Ball was selected.
During the 2019 volleyball season, Spradley and her teammates won the Alabama Community College Conference championship and the NJCAA district championship. They earned a national play-off appearance in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Spradley was recognized as the ACCC Co-player of the Year this season for her outstanding performance, including 611 kills averaging 4.63 per set. She is listed as this season’s third best hitter in NJCAA Division 1 volleyball and first in the ACCC. Spradley will continue playing volleyball as a scholarship player at the University of West Georgia.
