A Year of Determination and Endurance
2020 was a year of trials and tribulations caused by the rampant spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. But, Gadsden State prevailed and continued to provide education and training to support Alabama’s workforce. Online instruction increased exponentially as instructors found themselves having to adjust to an alternative way of delivering instruction. Through it all, Gadsden State persisted with perseverance, resilience and purpose. 2020 will never be forgotten and will always be remembered as the Year of Determination and Endurance.
Gadsden State's latest Strategic Plan focuses on preparing students from all backgrounds for success through quality education, innovative workforce development and inclusive community and global engagement.
Gadsden State has over 70 programs that provide graduates direct entry into the workforce or prepare students for transfer to a four-year institution.
