The Cardinal Tutoring Center is a peer tutoring program that offers educational support in every academic area. Our peer tutors are an elite group of GSCC students who have been selected because of their genuine commit to helping others receive a quality education. Dual Enrollment

 

High school students have the opportunity to earn college credit before they graduate through Gadsden State’s ACE Institute (Advanced College Enrollment). Scholarships are available for certain programs for those who qualify.

The Division of Language & Fine Arts of Gadsden State Community College includes the Departments of Art, English, Foreign Languages, Music, Speech, Theatre and the Alabama Language Institute. As one of the largest two-year colleges in Alabama, Gadsden State offers an incredible assortment of language and fine arts courses typically not available at many two-year colleges.

Scholarship opportunities are available for student athletes on all four of the Cardinal athletic teams (men’s basketball and tennis; women’s basketball and volleyball). Cardinal athletes and teams consistently maintain a 3.0 GPA and have a tradition of being named NJCAA Academic All Americans.

 

Our athletes benefit from Gadsden State serving as the host college for conference championships and many successfully transfer to four-year colleges and universities to continue as student athletes.
